Hot Chocolate

Hot Chocolate is one of the most famous hot drinks in the western world. In France, it is known as Chocolat chaud. When we were living in France, the international school used to serve chocolat chaud to the entire school before the Christmas holidays.. This is a perfect drink for winters. There are lot of variations of hot chocolate ; this is a basic recipe.......
Ingredients
(Makes 4 servings)
- Milk 3½ cups
- Sugar 1/3 cup
- Unsweetened Cocoa powder ¼ cup
- Vanilla essence ½ tsp
- Water ½ cup
For serving
- Whipped cream as per taste (optional)
Method of preparation
- Boil water. Add in unsweetened cocoa powder and sugar, mix well until sugar gets melted.

- Now add milk in this chocolate mixture and warm it up, but you do not need to boil it.
- Add vanilla essence. Mix well.
- Now pour hot chocolate in a mug.
Top it with whipped cream and serve all time favorite hot chocolate.
Some Tips/ Suggestions :
Some people like to add a pinch of salt in this drink, but I like to make it without salt.
You can also add some pieces of chocolate to top the hot chocolate drink.
