Ingredients
(makes about ¾ cup

  • Green cardamom  1 tbsp
  • Big Cardamom   1 tbsp
  • Clove 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1tbsp
  • Nutmeg      ½
  • Bay leaves     8-10
  • Cinnamon sticks 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds 1tbsp
  • Mace        1 tbsp
  • Carway seeds 2 tsp
    (Kala jeera)

Method of preparation

  1. Dry roast all the ingredients for 2-4 minutes.
  2. Grind all  the ingredients in the grinder.
  3. Store Garam Masala in the airtight container.

Tip: I prefer little coarse masale  but its your choice; you can make fine powder too.
