How to make mint powder
Mint is an exclusive perennial herb. Mint leaves are a good coolant and world wide famous for its medicinal values. Mint has an important place in Indian cuisine.
- Mint leaves 1 bouquet
- Clean cloth to spread the leaves
Method of preparation
- Remove the thick stem and wash the mint leaves thoroughly. Leave the leaves on the sieve to drain the water.
- On a clean cloth or paper spread the leaves to dry up. avoid to keep under the sun.(takes around 1 day to dry up the leaves completely)
- Make the powder of dried leaves in the grinder or crush the leaves with the fingers.
Store mint powder in the airtight container.
Mint powder is a key ingredient for Raita, and other yogurt preparations.
